When are Preschool Ministries Provided?

Sunday Morning

We provide Sunday School classes for all preschoolers age birth through Kindergarten at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday. Children age birth through three remain in their Sunday School rooms through the morning Worship Service. When preschoolers promote to four-year-old departments, they begin attending Worship with their parents.

Sunday Evening

Children in Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten attend the evening Worship Service with their parents. Childcare is provided for all younger children.

Wednesday Evening

During the school year Preschool Choir is provided for Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten children at 5:30. Clapping, singing, moving, playing rhythm instruments and listening are used as ways for preschoolers to develop good attitudes and understand about music in the church and how we use music to praise God.

Mission Friends is provided for two-year-olds through Kindergarten throughout the year at 6:30. Mission Friends provides opportunities for children to get a glimpse of all kinds of people and cultures around the world. The children pray for these people and the missionaries who minister to them.

All younger children are well cared for by our loving childcare staff.

Mother’s Day Out

West Jackson’s Mother’s Day Out meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. For more information on the Mother’s Day Out program, please click on the MDO tab at the top of this page.

West Jackson Child Development Center

Our Child Development Center offers full time childcare Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. for children six weeks through five years of age. You can find out more information about the Child Development Center by clicking on the CDC tab at the top of this page.
